Meet the Panelists

Dr. Katrina Frazier
Dr. Katrina Frazier is a dynamic visionary and a transformational leader with a proven track record in increasing student achievement by creating an excellent academic environment for every child. Dr. Frazier has over 20 years experience as an independent consultant, principal, teacher, coach, and much more.  As the principal of LEAD Brick Church, one of the lowest performing schools in the state of Tennessee, LEAD Brick Church earned the highest level of growth for two years in a row and outperformed 70% of the middle schools in the Metropolitan Nashville area. She is the founder of Win-Win Educational Consulting where she works with school leaders and educators across the country to turnaround low performing schools. Although Dr. Frazier has numerous accomplishments and awards including publishing a book in 2019, called The Power of the Principal: How to Go from the Bottom to the Top in Turnaround Schools, she is most proud of starting The Frazier Scholarship Foundation, a nonprofit organization to provide scholarships to underprivileged teenage mothers who plan to attend a 4 year college or university. 
Mia Howard
Mia founded and led Intrepid College Prep Schools, consistently leading middle school and high school performance in Nashville and across Tennessee. Under her leadership, the schools received numerous distinctions from Metro Nashville Public Schools and the state of Tennessee including recognition as a Reward School in 2015 and 2018, and acknowledgment as an Excelling School for Economically Disadvantaged students and English Language Learners. Prior to launching Intrepid, Mia was a Fellow at Building Excellent Schools. Mia received a B.A. in Communication Studies from Vanderbilt University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania
Rasheeda Washington
Rasheeda founded Beyond Sixth to support organizations in achieving significant outcomes and impact through human-centered solutions based on the people, values, and culture of their organization. She is an experienced supply chain and operations professional who has achieved measurable results across various industries and sectors. Over the past seven years Rasheeda has focused on K-12 education and non-profit work. Her expertise includes process improvement, organizational capacity, strategic planning and project management & implementation. She connects big-picture thinking with execution in a manner that drives positive results. Rasheeda has a M.Ed. in education leadership and a MBA with concentrations in global supply chain management and operations. She is a proud fur-mom to her rescued terrier KJ; and loves roller skating, hiking and shoe shopping.
Dr. Keisha M. Wint
Keisha M. Wint, Ph.D – Keisha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a passion for helping children thrive both at home and in school. For over 20 years, Dr. Wint has worked directly in the schools as a school social worker in a large urban district. In addition, Dr. Wint also provides counseling and therapy to children and families in her private practice as a mental health professional in Millburn, New Jersey. Dr. Wint earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. She then went to Rutgers University for a Master of Social Work. She earned her Ph.D. in Family Science and Human Development from Montclair State University and has consulted as an adjunct instructor at various universities. Her dissertation, The Beginning: Exploring Educational Experiences of Black Boys in State-funded Preschools, explored the child-centered experiences of four black preschool boys in a state-funded program. Her research, combined with her 20 years in the school system, has created a passion for educational equity for Black children, particularly boys, who are often disproportionately suspended, referred to special education, and expelled from schools. Dr. Wint strives to give a voice to young children, enhance teacher-child relationships, and empower families to become advocates for their children.

Meet the Panelists

Keauna Mason
Keauna earned her MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business (GSB) and her BS in Electrical Engineering from The University of Southern California (USC). Currently at Facebook, she leads a team of 19 supporting the Product Growth & Analytics teams. In addition to working at Facebook, Keauna also works as a part-time coach for Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) where she coaches 29 undergraduate Career Prep Fellows. Her other experience includes being a mentor, coach and interviewer for the UCLA Anderson School of Management Riordan Fellows Program, speaking on professional panels, serving as a Board member for the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Black MBA (2014 – 2018) and also an MBA Admissions Consultant for Stacy Blackman Consulting.
Marcia McNair
Marcia McNair was an assistant editor at Essence Magazine and is currently an Associate Professor of English, Journalism, and Women’s Studies at Nassau Community College. She is the former coordinator of the NCC African American Read-In and a current member of the Black History Month Committee and the Secretary for the Black Women’s Initiative (a student retention program). She is the Executive Director and Founder of Long Island Girl Talk, a program for teen girls interested in media.  Her professional memberships include Sigma Delta Chi (the Society of Professional Journalists) and the American Association of University Women.
Tiara Cash
Tiara is program manager at ASU’s Center for Mindfulness and Owner of Crowned Vitta LLC – a multi-disciplinary company serving communities through the concepts of mindfulness, meta-awareness, and meaningful self-relationships and relationships with others. Born and raised in Memphis, TN, she is a former student-athlete who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Wellness from Arizona State University and a Master’s degree from Western Illinois University in Kinesiology with a dual concentration in Sports Psychology and Fitness/Wellness Management. Tiara is a certified Koru Mindfulness Instructor with a 20 year personal practice of mindfulness and meditation. As a practitioner, she has worked in various settings including higher education, athletics, and the non-profit sector. Featured on NPR (National Public Radio) as an expert, Tiara is creator of the Equitable Mindfulness theory and practice.
